Strange stuttering issue that occurs about 5 minutes into warmup

I have a 2007 G35X with 165,000 miles that has been maintained properly for its entire life.

For the past year or so, around five minutes into warming the car up, the cars rev will shake under mild acceleration by about +- 500 RPM. The car shakes mildly from the stutter, but this can be avoided by using no throttle or "powering through it." When I "power through it" the car makes a mild "uh un uh un"(each cycle is about 1-2 seconds) noise from the engine but the revs are smooth. After about a minute of the problem stops occurring, and only occasionally happens when the revs will drop for a brief second on accelerating from no throttle mildly. The car still has the RPM stuttering when I have it locked in any gear in the manumatic mode.

Interestingly, the car will not have the brief second long stutter upon mild initial acceleration from stop when it is cold, it only happens AFTER the car is warmed up and had the problem.

I've been told it could be the cam shaft sensors. Does anyone else have any idea what this could be? It is starting to really bug me. Also what is the safest way to deal with the issue when it happens? Power through it, light acceleration with stutter, or do anything possible to avoid acceleration (what I currently try to do)?

I would start by pulling and inspecting spark plugs. Also OBD2 scan for hidden codes. The cam shaft sensors usually toss a code long before they fully fail and turn on the CEL light.

Bad spark plugs should look burnt and black? They should be replaced all at the same time right?

I scanned the car at auto zone after my service engine soon light came on not CEL, but it was for my gas gauge, which I knew was a problem already. That was the only visible code they said. Maybe this issue does not last long enough to throw a code?

Bad spark plugs can look like a lot of different things, I would be most interested to see what the gap is on them.

Check out a thread started by Eazdaskeez, just a few days old in our Gen 2 forum, and also read what i did about it, > i think your problem and mine are, (were) the same as my car, and what some of us did about it, also what i had to do about it....

Relearn . It's free and takes a few minutes.

He's probably referring to the Idle Air Volume Relearning procedure, typically used after throttle body cleaning
