Internet Explorer update, this site doesn't show perfect anymore.
After installing the new Internet Explorer update this site doesn't show perfect anymore.
Mainly the drop down options above(Forums, gallery, members, ...) don't show the options in the drop down box, its just shows a "-" or says "edit". Anyone else experienced this? |
Yep, I noticed it too. I thought it was just me, but alas, I'm not the only one.

Do NOT under ANY circumstances download IE7. It is NOT required and it is screwed up. My company will not allow anyone to use it.

IE is slow, get firefox, way better.
Mozilla Firefox download |
IE7 is working fine for me... tabbed browsing is great... and its fast both at work and at home
however, i too, have the problem with this site and the drop down menus (same thing with my350z.com) |

I am missing a couple of the drop down menus as well. Well, if I click on them, they're still where they should be...but the descriptions are missing.
For example, I click on "Forums", and the top two menu items are " - " and " - " I remember that the 2nd - used to say "Search", thankfully. Otherwise I'd be lost. And the new text rendering of IE7 fvcking blows. Text has lost it's sharpness, and I'm quite annoyed! |
Text on IE7 on my other machine looks fine. What kind of monitor are you using?

Thanks, I think it helped some. I'm also still getting used to a new LCD monitor which I think compounded the problem a bit...CRTs are so much crisper when it comes to displaying text, and that's what I was used to prior to this 17" LCD. But your suggestion did help.
Thanks |
