What's the deal with all the changes?

Many of the new "changes" to the forum are causing more problems than they are helping.

I don't know what you did, but "copy/paste" is a PITA now. Why? If I don't open the thread first BEFORE I copy something, it removes it from the clip board! This is not just one computer. It does it at work, home, iPhone or iPad. Also, when I click on an arrow in the thread that is supposed to take me to the latest post in that thread, sometimes you end up somewhere completely different. Also, what's with the "now loading related threads" thing? I'm viewing a post and the next thing I know, i'm in some other thread completely unrelated to the one I was reading? Please fix this.

Having worked with the new system nothing works as intended except the smiles, so here's what I feel about it all...:banghead:

How about some specifics on what is not working? Thanks.

I'm trying to reproduce the problems you are having with the copy/paste but haven't had any luck yet. Are you copy/pasting from a 3rd party source, a separate tab, or directly from a G35DRIVER post? Are you using a Windows or Apple based OS and which browser. I've been trying with Chrome running on Windows 10 and haven't been able to reproduce any of the issues except the "loading related thread" which is basically a new feature that provides the same functionality that the mobile version always had.

Also Tex, you can disable the related threads under your user options, it's like 2/3 of the way down under the options page right next to the option to enable/disable infiniscrolling.

I apologize, I was on mobile and missed it completely. My question was responding to the second reply in the thread. Thank you Cleric670 for the assist!

The related threads is primarily for new members who join to find a answer to a specific question.

I too cannot duplicate the problems you are seeing but more information will help concerning you OS, device etc. If necessary we will get the techs to help solve your issues. In the meantime please go to the 'Edit Options' in your User Control Panel linked below. You can disable 'Related Threads' or 'Infinite Scroll ' or both.

Have a good weekend!

third party.

Example, just now I am making a post in my “The Hypocrisy of the Left” thread and when I push “post quick reply” I end up in the “Hypocrisy not Democracy” thread. A thread I have never posted in. I hit the back button and it only goes to my list of current threads where I started.

Edit: it did it just now making this post. Here is where I ended up when I hit “post quick reply”:

Edit: see below.

It wouldn’t let me post a pic in an edit, so....

Wouldnt to let me post a pic here either. See below.

These changes have really screwed up the forum.
