Real World Gas Mileage expecations
What are you guys seeing for actual gas mileage in your 09-11's?
I'm considering trading my '06 in for one of those years and want to know if the fuel economy has improved any? I get maybe 18-20MPG city and 25-26MPG highway |
I am averaging between 20-22 in town and get 25-28 on the highway. My 08 was a big improvement over my 05 G, and the '12 is a decent jump up from the 08. On the highway at 80, this car does around 2500-2600rpms whereas my 05 and 08 Gs both did around 3100-3200rpms. Those 1-2 extra gears (had a 6MT in there) really help a lot.
I am in love with my 2013 even though most people would think its the same car as the 2008, the little nitty gritty things really make it an incredible car. I can't even imagine jumping to this car from my 05. I'd probably never get out haha. And the deals right now, out of this world. Buying, or leasing, you cannot go wrong. Good deals on the 09s-11s right now as well, although I would stick with the 10+ because you get the updated interior and exterior an the updated tech. Good luck! Lemme know if you have any questions. |
Wow, not a whole lot of 2010+ model owners here i guess?
I think i'm gonna go test drive a few 2010's and see how I like them. One question though...I want white exterior with graphite leather. Was this available in 2010? |
No one else?

Not a whole lot of '10+ owners here i guess.
I looked at a white/graphite sedan over the weekend. Seems at dealerships, they still want $26-27K for the '10's with about 35K miles on them. Seems a lot. Estimating my trade-in and interest and my payment would be about $350/month which is higher than I wanted....but I don't want to put down cash either. I remember looking at my fully loaded with Navi '06 in '08. Same time frame as me looking at '10's now and they were in the 22-24K range. I don't need a new car....just something newer enough to last a while since i put miles on like crazy I'm still shopping around and thinking.... Maybe i'll keep my '06 another year?? |
