2012 g37 won't start / security indicator light blinking

First real issue w/ my G37 yesterday. I'm trying to start the car yesterday afternoon, but the dashboard lights are the only thing that stay on. Cannot start the car at all, no radio, no heater, etc.. The car continues to beep like my door is open, even when it isn't. Few of the indicator lights stay lit. The only one that blinks is the security indicator light.

My first thought is the key fob battery is dead. I change the battery out, but still no luck.

I end up towing the car to the dealer. The tech I talk to says he's never seen anything like it before. Still waiting on a call from them today.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Strange and a bit of a hastle. Hope it's nothing serious.

^^^^^^^
Did you purchase new?
Was the vehicle ever involved in a flood?

I'm guessing it's either water got into the IPDM or you have a severely corroded (or not bolted tight) electrical component like the cables/fusible link.

If it's been raining I'd suspect the IPDM, newer model G's don't have quite the issue yet that the older ones do but that's simply due to being newer and thus less overall accumulation of gunk. The location being slightly forward compared to the earlier G doesn't really matter, when you hit the brakes and the cowl is full of water it's all going forward onto the battery and IPDM. If your battery box drain is clogged as well then it will fill up with water and actually submerge the IPDM.
