Best Year G37 Sedan or Q40?
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I am thinking of buying a G37 or Q40 before year end. I just wanted to know if any model year stick out over others whether it's a G37 sedan or Q40 (vs G37's). I've owned a Maxima and RL and noticed that some model years have more bugs or issues than others (such as 99 Max ignition coil problem or 05-06 RL propeller shaft whine). Thanks in advance for the input.

They are LITERALLY the same car, the only difference is they have a slightly different badge on the rear, fewer color options to chose from, and a very slightly restyled front bumper. I'd say 2010 - 2013 because I liked that revised exterior better on the sedans, the bumper has a horizontal partition that matched the look of the grille.

The 'best' year(s) to get would be 2012+ because that's when they revised the galley gasket. I have a 2010 G37 at 120K miles. I plan to install an oil pressure gauge to monitor it but also plan to have the gasket replaced maybe next year. Other than that its mostly the same. The 2014+ VHR also have a different/better exhaust header design and Jon (Z1) and Moncef (AdminTuning) have verified that it is. There's also talk about the 2014+ having a slightly different head but this has not been verified.
