how to remove dead pedal w/o breaking anything

Does the dead pedal have screws holding it? Do I just pull it off with brute force? Dont' wanna break anything... better safe than sorry.

Thanks

Just pull up on it.

Just curious. Why would you want to remove the dead pedal?

You talking about the big plastic block next to the fuse box?

It has 2, 1/4 turn screws.

to adjust the engagement of the clutch.
I'm talking about the place where you rest your foot when you're not shifting.

That's what I thought. I don't recommend you "just pull up on it".

i would advise against adjusting the clutch engagement point.

It was adjusted by ZCG when installing the clutch. I didn't like the high engagement (maybe 1/2 and inch from the top)

pulled up on it. I can put it back but the screws don't work anymore...any ideas to fix this?
