2006 G35 Coupe MT6 Daytime Running Lights issue

I'm having trouble locating the DRL Module for my car.
It's a Canadian car, I've seen links where it's visible from the engine bay, bit sure what year the car was. (sedan? year?).

Passenger side DRL bulb is out, testing the bulb and it's fine, so I'm guessing the DRL module needs some re-soldering?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm. Since the two High-beam bulbs are supposed to be running in series (making about 1/2 brightness), I assumed if one bulb was blown neither would light... Anyway, here is the location of the module (bottom of the drawing is the right headlamp) and the schematic of the entire system. If you want more info grab the "lt.pdf" from here:

2006 G35 Coupe MT6 Daytime Running Lights issue

Hi again,
After looking closer at that pic, i realized the module is not located in that spot in my car, is that the location for a sedan (specific year)?

Been searching the web and can't find the location for 2006 coupe

thx again

Yes, my bad, the above is from the sedan book. The '06 coupe apparently handles DRL by running the fog lights at full power (the other 1/2 of your H4 halogens) and the IPDM handles the task of energizing them.

Grab the "lt.pdf" file from this link to read all about it:

Have you looked to see if your fogs are both working because you probably just lost one of those filaments.

Just noticed the exact same thing on my 2006 G35 coupe this morning - passenger side daytime running light (DRL, DTRL) not working, but my regular D2S bulbs working. I know the D2S and fog lights are different (because my D2S are 6000ks and my fogs are stock), but i didnt know the DRL and fogs are one bulb running at a different power handled by the IPDM.

I'm gonna head out to check if my fogs work, if they don't then i know to just replace that passenger side H4 bulb. Hope it's not the IPDM's problem........
