Need Help with Winshield Wiper (Doesn't spray)
Hi guys,
I wanted to know if anyone had this happen and if they found a way to fix it. I have 2003 G35 Sedan. My passenger side wiper doesn't spray. There is a little bit coming out, but not enough to spray the entire area. I read somewhere about trying to poke the spray hole with a needle, which I did, but no difference. There are three holes, and all of them spew a little out, so I doubt its the holes. Is there something else I can check? |
I had one jet get clogged once. I had the dealer fix it under warranty while I was in for a few other things. I'm not sure what they did, but it works great now. So, worse comes to worse, you could just have the dealer take care of it.

My driver side nozzle (in my Maxima) stopped working for a while. It turned out my FSTB was pinching the hose and preventing fluid from passing through to the nozzle. Could be that.

Try the needle a few times. Helps if someone else is pressing the button to prevent the build up from falling inward then clogging the next time you spray. Also, like the previous poster said, trace the water hose for any kinks. Good luck!

No calcium in wiper fluid...a needle isnt long enuff ...you have air compressor take the line off and try blowing it out...it might work...

I had this exact problem and it turned out that the plastic end where the wiper hose connects to near the hood was broken. Some fluid was squirting out the hole, but it wasn't making it into the hose because the hose was off.
It was a cheap fix. |
