Windows won't roll down and doors won't lock

Hey ya'll

Just wondering if anyone on here has experienced this before. I was driving back from the grocery store and I could not lock my doors from inside nor could i roll down the windows. Earlier in the day during lunch my windows rolled down and the doors locked.

I've done some searching and maybe it's my window motors that need to be replaced (04 coupe) but that doesn't explain the door locks not working.

Does any of you know if there is a fuse that needs to be replaced somewhere or have experienced this? Your input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

EDIT: The door locks would lock when i use my key fob just not when i'm in the car. Wierd....

with both the door locks and the windows not operating, it is more likely the switch assembly that needs to be replaced since both of the switches are in one assembly. See if you can roll down the passenger window from the pass. side switch, if yes then the drivers switch assembly needs to be replaced, pretty easy job. Also check to see if you can roll the windows down with the key fob, if you can then you know for sure its the switch and not the window motor(s). much easier to replace the switch than the motor. let me know what you find out.

Thanks for the reply. I actually tried both of what you mentioned and it still didn't work. It's weird that the window will go down slightly when the door opens. I just have to push the window up after i close the door. I was looking through the service manual and i think worse case scenario i may have to replace the BCM(Body Control Module) :icon43: :eek3:

I know this thread is year old, but the EXACT same thing happened to me today, did you ever figure out what happened?
