G35 Fuel Filters/location....?
 

Do we have fuel filters on our G35s, if so where are they located? Did a SEARCH and found nothing about "Fuel Filters." I replaced the ones on my last Z every 30K miles but it was easy to see and replace....:dunno:

my owner manual says my 03 fuel filter is inside fuel tank

Nissan doesn't recommend changing them until 100K miles. It's not that hard to do. Wait until your tank is low, remove the rear seat cushion and there will be an access panel to the fuel tank hat. Relieve the fuel pressure, take off the lines and pull out the fuel pump assembly.
I would recommend replacing the pump as well as they have a tendency to fail on higher mileage cars causing hard start ups and drive-ability issues.

this makes total sense. My car right now sometimes takes for ever to crank apparently it has low fuel pressure upon start up. But not sure if its the filter or the pump thats bad. All I know is that on mornings it starts fine or when its really cold. Now if I iuse the car and in one hour I istart it it takes like 4 or 5 seconds until it cranks. Apart from that everything seems fine. Even though it seems as if my MPG has really gotten awful since this started.

You really won't have any issues with the filter. If you have any they are from pump failure. The cheapest option is going for a walboro aftermarket pump. The filter is a white mesh oversized screen before the pump inlet, like a fish tank net...

Worth going with the walbro for a stock car though? Your fuel delivery does not need to increase...?
