Can't Open Hood
 

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe, but recently haven't been able to open the hood. The hood switch underneath the steering wheel doesn't seem to open the hood when I pull it. Has anyone experienced this problem, or have any advice to fix it? Is there a manually hood switch on this model infiniti?

nope. you'll need to use a coat hanger or something to get it opened. your cable likely snapped.

should I use the coat hanger and go in from the front of the car?

happened to me once. I thought the cable had snapped but as it turns out, the clip that holds it into the knee bolster had popped out after a recent install that required it to be pulled down. So when I was pulling on it, it wasn't able to pull the cable the required length. I figured it out when i gabbed the cable itself with pliers and it popped right open. Took the knee bolster down and looked at the clip and saw it wasnt even in place.
