cold air intake installed?

LaserRedG35VS Sep 18, 2010 10:21 PM

Oh, i think i know. This happened with me in the rain with my CAI. Could be a sensor, i forgot what its called but i think its called cam*** sensor. All i remember is it had cam in it lol. But usually letting the car sit off a bit and then starting it up, it'll drive fine.

That happened with another car I had with a CAI. The filter ended up getting pushed too far onto the pipe so it couldn't suck enough air.

Check your MAF as well. Maybe do an ECU reset and see what happens?

Texasscout Sep 19, 2010 12:31 PM

Just happened to me at 87K miles. Started missing at steady throttle then went into limp mode. Had to replace MAF sensor. You CAN get it out of limp mode by disconnecting the battery and letting it sit over night.

paulkorsa Sep 19, 2010 10:12 PM

thanks guys , gonna try disconnecting the battery over night
