driver's window opening door
 

I bought an 06 g35 about 3 months ago, with 54,000 miles. I noticed recently when opening the drivers door, that the window only lowers about 1/8". It used to lower itself about 1". With the door open, I can push gently down on top of the window and it will drop down like it used too. When I shut the door the window will go all the way up like normal.
Everything else works perfectly. The window will travel up and down manually or using auto. Does anyone have an idea on what's going on, and the best way to fix it? Thanks, Bill

I guess nobody has had a problem with the auto window function when opening the door??

maybe the motors going bad. i dont think its supposed to lower an inch

I had to change my window motor yesterday, and AFTER i put a new motor in from the infinity dealership, NOW i have the same problem...window works but wont drop more than 1/8 of an inch...but can push it down manually the other 1/8 inch, close the door and the window goes all the way up...so ur not the only one...i feel ur pain..
