Aftermarket steering wheel; air bag bypass?

Just installed a nrg quick release and steering wheel on my 05 G35 coupe but even after I put in the air bag resistors that came with the kit, the air bag light still flashes? Yes I did the air bag reset that the other forums posted but it still flashes. Anyone know why?
Is there any way to troubleshoot the light to pinpoint the exact problem?

There's a way to check the codes buried in the forums here.

Likely wrong sized resistors.

do you know the correct resistor size? I figured the right one should have came with the parts.

Turns out you need TWO of the 2 ohm resistors, there must be 4 total wires or something, I didn't take mine apart just reading about it on the 350Z forums.

you mean 4 of these all together? cause I have these 2 hooked up to each plug of the air bag. Maybe I’ll try adding 2 more. If it works I’m guessing it just needs higher ohm resistors

First thing I'd do is take a digital multimeter, set it on resistance/ohms (if you have multiple ohm settings pick the one that's a low range like 20, not 200 or 20k) and measure to see what those resistors are. You want the total resistance to be 2.2 ohms according to everything I saw yesterday.

Here's the main thread I was looking in on my350Z

Fix the problem that's turning the light on, then the light turns off. You can put the system in diagnostic mode to find out why the light is on.
