Please help, where can I get this part?

I noticed oil was leaking from somewhere and traced it to a sensor that was broken in front of the motor. I have tried looking up the part and only found it on eBay for 800 dollars but the sale ended when I went back to get the part number from it so I have no clue the name of it and 800 is way too much. I need help ASAP. It's the blue sensor. Car is an 05 6speed G35 Coupe

^That sensor is OEM.

It may just be a gasket/seal.

Nothing really man, I just used some red silicone to seal up where the sensor broke and where the oil was leaking from for now. I'm going to go look at junk yards for the part but I doubt I'll find it. I was looking online and seen that the revup motors are the ones with these sensors. I'd hate to have to get rid of the car because I can't find parts like this for it.

Hmm, I might have a stupid idea here. But, what if you unplug the sensor and see if it trips a code? Then maybe it can give you an idea what to look for.

Never mind it's something with the variable timing exhaust side. I think you need to purchase a new cover to get it. I think its called a magnet retarder or something.

That's an idea I might try it tomorrow, I have an obd2 reader so I'll be able to check it out at home. Where could I possibly get the cover from? I feel handicapped in knowledge about these cars. I've always had mustangs before.

I just googled that magnet retarder and that is the part I need. I will now be able to track the part down a whole lot easier, thanks
