Pls don't die

The title is pretty much what I pray every time I throw my car into neutral or step on the clutch after moving. I just changed out my steering wheel so of course I had to pull the battery so the air bag won't blow up in my face lol but after doing so, my car will sometimes die when I come to a stop. It doesn't always happen and sometimes my car catches itself at around 300-500 RMP and then goes back to normal but other times, it will just drop and die. I tried doing my closed throttle body relearn, idle relearn, and accelerator position relearn to no success. Just wondering if anyone else had any ideas on what to try next? She idles fine when I start her up, its just after driving and putting it in neutral is when it drops really low. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

ECU reset as well, check for obvious vacuum leaks, check for a stuck open pcv valve.

Perform the idle air reset AGAIN after the ECU reset. Make sure the engine is up to operating temp before you do the idle reset or I guarantee it won't work properly.

Thanks, I'll try this asap and let you know how it goes!

I just looked for some vacuum leaks and there was one of the hoses that was loose, I am using high pressure lines, after I tightened the line and did a idle relearn and ECU reset my car no longer has shutoff, so hopefully I fixed it. Thanks guys:)
