Mystery connector above transmission on the driver's side
 

So my 05 coupe has an 04 engine. Previous owner swapped it after the engine blew. I've heard that the rev-up engines have 3 connectors for cam sensor stuff vs the normal 2 connectors on the previous engines, so there's a potential that this is just one of the extra connectors.

I've had a p1283 code that just won't go away so I'm thinking maybe it's related to the o2 sensors? Any advice would be appreciated.
