yes. i know it sucks without a track here now, but you don't have to endager others lives. if you want to speak with me in person, feel free to stop by the carshow this weekend. i'll be more than happy to meet, and speak with you.

g35 owners are fortunate enough to have some respect from the "law" because of the G35 enthusiast club.

true that, i'm not big on the whole street racing thing. i mean if it's like 2am and the roads are completely empty i'll punch it for a few seconds against a repectable car (porcshe, mercedes, bmw, corvette, etc). usually lose.

anyways, not trying to get too off-tracked; i've been caught cruising a bit over the limit (usually 10-15mph over), and usually the cop will drive close (on side or behind) until i realize they're there and slow down, he/she may wave and drive on their marry way. i've had cops remind me about my tint (5% around and 15% on the windshield), rims, etc.

i'd hate to lose this "respect" that sen_jen is talking about. it feels so good driving and not really having to worry (even with mods). sh!t, when i drive my sr20ve powered sentra just 10mph over cops follow me for MILES sometimes all the way home and the only thing noticalbly modified is the exhaust.

Then we'd all be in the same boat as civics that the car already aesthetically resembles.

haha! no ways yo. My ricer boy days are over man. I only took it to the track after I learned a very hard and expensive lesson.

Yes, we are lucky to have a good rep with law enforcement. I would hate to see it go down the pits. I think most of the G owners on these boards had their fun in their younger days, and are a little more mature than that now.

Please feel free to come down to Hawaii and tell that to us. There are several officers who drive their G's as their official police vehicles. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to tell you what you can and cannot do.

Have a nice day.
