Just got my AME tracers tm02s installed! 19x10.5s all corners with 2753519s rear, eh...that's normal, and 2753019s front. I'll post some pictures in a bit, but damn are these wheels mean

still have to go through and adjust my coilovers to the height im wanting. im thinking the rear needs a 10-15mm spacer since i had all four fenders rolled almost an inch. i need a rear camber kit if anyone has one for sale.
with this setup it tracks and steers great but one thing happened that im ot sure what could have caused it. i wanted a nice flowing corner or roundabout so when i was exiting h1 onto ft weaver huge sweeping right, my slip light turned on and i lost power but it was only that one time. and when it happened i wasnt anywhere near breaking traction. kinda freaks you out at 60mph in a turn. any ideas?

but anyways, time for pics, ill get more tomorrow after i wash it!

turn off the vdc that seems to work for me.

TonyG35DG 02-07-2010 06:15 PM

Could be the new tires not broken in yet? I remember having similar problems when I put on new tires.

GR6RR 02-08-2010 07:26 PM

dude, that lip is HUGE!! Wheels look good, try turnin off VDC when wanting to corner harder... not during the turn, but before the turn :)

gingerbreadman 02-08-2010 11:02 PM

It's not as big as it looks in the picture is even with stock sides but Yeah I wanna get rid of the stillen lip that's why I haven't painted it. Thanks everyone! Anyone have a camber kit for sale and an ings lip kit? Carbon hood?

gabmasterflash 02-10-2010 12:41 AM

did you roll your fenders yourself?

gingerbreadman 02-10-2010 12:49 AM

No I had the guys at jus4kix do the fender rolling and mounting balance, they did a great job. $55 per fender. I was worried at first but they rolled them, took measurements, just to be sure they had them right. My offsets are +22 all around and I was very suprised that even with the 275s up front I have yet to rub.
I don't have the spacers on yet but I'm doing 10mm front and either 15 or 20mm rear.

gabmasterflash 02-10-2010 12:57 AM

right on! I have to roll my fenders too because I rub when ever I hit a fast change of elevation on the road.

Talk to Garry from jus4kix

60 mph on the off ramp, I don't think it's about the tires not being broken in yet. I do think it's the VDC doing what it's supposed to be doing.

gingerbreadman 02-10-2010 12:27 PM

Yeah that's what figured, scared the shat out of me though!
