Sport Bumper ??? HELP!!!

so I just took off my splitter gonna go a different direction.

My main question is what is the difference with the Sport and Non-Sport bumpers. I researched the **** out of this and cant get a solid answer.

Heres what I know. This is the non-sport bumper

This is the sport bumper

Now this is where things get confusing. I want to purchase the Chargespeed Carbon Bottom Line Kit and they have two kits...

one for 03-05, which looks like the non-sport bumper

and one for 06-07, which clearly looks like the sport bumper

but on their website it says that this kit will NOT fit a oem sport bumper. Is that just a typo or is there a different sport bumper that I'm missing here

I think this thread has some good pics to compare. Not sure, but one difference I can see is that the sport has that little dip thing in the middle.

I like it. I think you should get something for the sides and rear too, it just looks incomplete to me.

Duct Opening is much more refined and appears to be more aggressive....
as to the non sport curves inwards. you have the right idea with the photos.

they site prob sold out of lips for the sport bumpers and only have non sport in stock.

different vents, different bottom edge of the front bumper = different flow for the lip to line up perfectly. I would call Chargespeed and have one of their reps verify what lip they have in stock and you can decide then.

Sounds to me like you have the non-sport bumper (which is the same for all OEM G in 2003-2005. 2006 + you could upgrade to the sport bumper from factory/dealer.) If I recall the years right.

Thanks for all the replys, I can see the difference but just wanted to make sure, there's only one sport bumper right? And as you can see in my photoshoped picture I have the sport bumper.

I'm definitely gonna get the CF chargespeed side skirts, but it's not really side skirts it's like a side skirt lip kit, and I have the CF Nismo diffuser in the rear.

The main reason I want to go this way instead of a kuruma z kit is because the kit sits really low, and I want to drop my car low and I think the lip sits higher then a kuruma z front

car lookin good.. but needs more low and fatter tires.. looks like an unnessary tire stretch.
I think you ride can pull off the agressive/beefy tire setup.
