Headlight Vibration?

Does anyone have the headlight vibration problem? My lights vibrate over any slight roughness in the road. Is this normal? Our Z doesn't do it, so what gives.

Re: Headlight Vibration?

Some of the members have discussed this before, but it seems the general consensus is that the sharp horizontal cutoff of the HIDs plus how high they point, gives the impression of bouncing. Not sure if anyone has actually taken apart the stock HIDs and checked to see if it could be the mount, housing or bulbs that are bouncing.

Merlin did you know that you don't have the Aero Package?

Re: Headlight Vibration?

There are two different options with Aero in the title. One has to do with the underbody diffusers and spoiler...the other is the body kit with side sills and bumpers.

Re: Headlight Vibration?

Your canadian, that explains it all. Cars in the US don't have that option.

Geez really I'm Canadian...glad someone told me.... I have been on this forum long enough to know the differences between the canadian options and the US ones.

Re: Headlight Vibration?

Actually EdRedS is correct and my profile is also. In the USA there are 2 "Aero" or were, packages. One with the Body kit, diffusers and wing and one with just the wing and diffusers. I have not looked at their options since I bought my car so I do not know if they have changed.

Re: Headlight Vibration?

How does this play into the headlight issue?
