What happened to Ken's exhaust thread?

Did it get fixed/resolved? Was it just one of the test pipes, resonators?

I was checking back to see what the prob was, and now the thread is gone.

What happened?

Rick, Tony?

Either Ken deleted it or the moderators did.

Ken is dealing with Tony directly to get some more sound slips, etc.

OIC....Tony probably is fixing the prob and Ken deleted the thread.

I think Ken deleted it on his own. I think he was tired of all of high school drama. As far as the issue Ken and I are talking directly. He is working on getting me some new sound clips.

I need to listen to the clip. I mean, my exhaust note changed also....it actually got better (smoother, more exotic).

There is a little gurgle/rumble at the bottom end, but it is nothing to worry about (my knock amp shows that my A/F ratios are perfect throught the RPM band). In fact, it sounds cool, a bit like a Ferrari.

I pmed Ken, he is worried about the sound, but I doubt it is anything that is actually a problem. He is also a bit concerned about the tip blackening from his test pipes. I told him that that is a given: test pipes (at least on the 100's of VQ 3.5's that have come through SGP) always produce blackening and burn oil, no way around that fact. Just clean the pipes and check ur oil every 2-3 weeks. Its a small price to pay for the increased breathing and hp. Ken is friends w/ Jeremy (a very knowledgeable guy) who will confirm the above.

Can't wait till I hook up w/ my TT, then we will really see this systems capabilities.

I listened to the clip. It doesn't sound like an exhaust issue...it sounds like the timing is off.

How did you come to that conclusion?

Yes I deleted the thread.
