Question Fast Intention owners W/O HFC's .....
 

I'm waiting for my FI to be delvered for my '06 MT Coupe.When I ordered I failed to note that the sound clips on the FI wesite were WITH HFC's. Now I hear that I may not get anywhere near that sound with my stock cats ......
Hopefully some other FI owners W/O HFC' can respond.
My question is , how does your exhaust sound with the stock cats compared to the stock exhaust that came with our cars?

correction: I said sound clips were with HFC's. I meant test pipes. Sorry....

test pipes/high flow cats will really open up the FI exhaust (or any other exhaust for that matter).

imo, test pipes/high flow cats make a huuuge difference.

for instance, i have HKS w/ FI high flow cats. my hks is noticeably much louder and more agressive than my friend's hks.

and at a local meet i fired up my hks w/ high flow cats and people came up to me asking what i did to get that extra purr.
