Y-pipe + HFC's with stock exhaust

Right now the only performance mod i have is a pop charger. I was thinking about an aftermarket Y-pipe along with Kinetix HFC's for some extra sound and maybe a few HP withoutout droping a grand on an exhaust. The only thing i am worried about is the loss of low end torque with the Y-pipe. But I've also read that the stock Y-pipe is one of the most restrictive parts of the exhaust and low end torque loss is not a problem with this setup. Can i get some real answers from some experts or dynos. All feedback is appreciated. Along with other combos you think would be better.

The deafening sound of silence on this post makes me think no one knows the answer.

I found this post doing a search for an answer to this very question. When you homos throw out the "use the search button" jab just remember this post... :11:

Don't waste your time or money. Neither of those mods have been proven to add a noticeable increase in power. I suggest spending the money on a MD 5/16" spacer and then getting an ECU reflash of some type. Both those mods will add about 4X as much power as the HFCs and y-pipe. BTW, there isn't a SINGLE dyno of a before/after y-pipe install on this site or on my350z.com.
