The version you have do you still have the option to switch out modules? The version I see the TDX bolts up where it merges with no module. If not how do you plan to smog your car? Jayk car sounds good with the art pipes kind of sounds like a supra with a exhaust when you rev it. |

Well I never had the shockwave v1, so I can't really comment on how it would sound with art pipes. But it droned bad when I had my gamma + f.i. hfc's. Then i switched to the shockwave v2 + hfc's, that realllllllllllllllly helped with the droning, it was a drastic change. And now I have my current shockwave v2 + art pipes, there's a slight drone at exactly 2500 rpm, but anything above or below that, it doesn't drone, it's just the loudness of the exhaust.

So the Art Pipes did help reduce the loudness? I'm really interested on getting the Art Pipe but mainly to reduce the noise. I used to have a Test Pipe and I couldn't take it anymore so I'm back to my stock CAT.

Looks the same as the one that connects up at the merge point of xyz. |

The only other video I have with the ART pipes is when I dyno'd it:
Jayk is right about the TDX not being able to change modules. As for smog.....I don't have to worry about it yet since I have an 07, but when the time comes, I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy ;). I haven't heard Jayk's car with the ART pipes in person yet, but he's heard mine, so maybe he can answer if we sound the same. But I think my car sounds a little deeper, whereas his sounds a bit more raw. I'm assuming its because I have the shockwave V2 with the resonators. |
^i only really heard it on the freeway when we were driving all crazy to ihop that one meet and everyones exhaust was going off on WOT.
