Re: Injen RD 1990 Sedan CAI Pics
can you feel any diff in performance??
do you think it actually helps it go faster? |
Re: Injen RD 1990 Sedan CAI Pics
Kong,
It's not too hard to pull off the bumper. Just take your time and you'll be all right. Took about 3 hours to finish. NV-35 |
Re: Injen RD 1990 Sedan CAI Pics
I bet that if you get the NIsmo Body kit it would help the CAI.

Very sweet NismoV35. Keep up the good work.
I wanna know if the front bumper cover blocks the air to the filter though, since that area where the filter is located is covered unless you have the NISMO, Gialla, or Impul front. http://members.rogers.com/choi2690/R...G35-sig-02.jpg It's still a G thang!! |
Re: Injen RD 1990 Sedan CAI Pics
Yeah! Can you post a pic of the car with the front bumper cover on? I'd like to see whether the filter is "protected" by the cover or whether it is like the coupe where you can actually see the filter sitting up front.
BTW, I'm also wondering if it is truly necessary to remove the bumper corver? Looks like you can reach this from the bottom of the wheel well. Would this not be possible?
Edited by 350xfire on 04/11/03 05:59 PM.
|
Re: Injen RD 1990 Sedan CAI Pics
I don't think it really blocks any air. Well maybe not directly flowing against it. I like to think of it being more Protected from any Rocks or road debris being kicked up onto it. It probaly protects from Rain directly hitting the filter also. I think I recall someone in The Bay area mentioning something to this effect. Still eventually I might put on a AEM Bypass valve just for Extra Protection. Can't be too safe. Nv-35
