Getting a good deal on Berk HFC's...still worth while?

Hey guys, I'm getting a good deal on a set of used Berk HFC's, a bit less than half the typical selling price which I understand is a phenomenal deal. After doing some reading it seems like our cars don't gain a whole lot with HFC's. Am I correct in saying this? So even if the deal is good that's still a couple hundred bucks I'm paying for what amounts to be a sound improvement? What do you guys think?

My current setup is already to my liking. I have an 03 sedan with a coupe mid pipe, HR y pipe and a muffler delete. It's pretty quiet when I need it to be but also gets pretty loud when I mash on it. As far as other breathing mods I've also got the K&N filter and z tube along with a motordyne plenum spacer.

muffler delete? wow....

and whoever told you hiflow cats don't get nice gains is lying. but if you are already no muffler you might as well go for the greater gains through ART pipes

Does a muffler delete make a lot of power or something? Am i missing something here?

I believe it makes somewhere around zero difference. I actually removed the oem muffler at the flange and had a set of tips welded to a short piece of pipe and a flange so that I could attach a muffler at any time if needed for smog, etc.

I'm not saying its anywhere near Lexus quiet but definitely a lot quieter than I expected it to be. At freeway cruise there is zero drone and you won't hear a peep out of the exhaust unless I step on it. It's fairly easy to keep the noise under wraps in case there's a PO around. Still sounds great with a heavy pedal through a tunnel though thats for sure. Of course my general idea of quiet might be different from yours but even with the OEM muffler, coupe mid pipe and HR y pipe I already had some drone. I don't think a sedan with muffler delete would sound any different than a coupe doing the same thing with identical Y and mid pipes.
