In NY state, will high flow cats pass emissions, and inspection? Would love some help before I purchase(if I purchase). :dunno:

I hear it wont, but not sure. But i did hear they are changing that in july

Anyways, in CA state I think it needs to be CARB certified in order to pass. I believe there are certain ones that do pass and don't. Hope you find your answer.

I believe they do. My passat has passed ny state inspection with HFC for 6years in a row.

I guess for some ppl they pass and some they don't.

It's going to depend on cell counts and the emissions level for the state.

well, the one i am getting has 300 so i hope it good enough for me.

Also keep in mind that its an automatic fail if you have any check engine lights on, so make sure you either have nonfoulers or a reflash to take care of those
