Question for those with Stillen's exhaust
 

I'm getting Stillen exhaust this week and while I'm not doing it yet, I plan to in the future, I have not yet decided whether to go with the ART pipes or just HFCs. I know the ART paired with MD Shockwave is an amazing sound, but I'm curious as to how it pairs with Stillen. I've heard HFC won't do too much to the sound as far as volume but rather gives it a deeper tone.

So for those of you with Stillen's exhaust, can anyone tell me their opinions and experiences as far as having HFC or ART and possibly someone going from HFC to ART and what kind of differences you have?

The G35 community in my area is pretty non-existant so my chances of finding someone with exhaust to hear in person is slim to none. I've tried to find videos but it's hard to find one of someone with a similar or exact setup and actually have decent audio. You can only go so far with walmart camera.

I have an '05 6mt with a Stillen and Art pipes..

I like the sound . No droning what so ever ..

I used to have a 5/16 spacer AND MREV2 before I swapped out to a cosworth..

I have an 06 with the stillen exhaust and Tomei test pipes. Sounds awesome!

i had stillen exhaust and HFC. the HFC makes it slightly louder but for the money you might as well buy the ART pipes.

This is exactly the way I was leaning. My only concern is, I want it to be heard dont get me wrong, but I dont want it to be excessive while cruising to where I have to yell at my gf in the passenger seat (for no reason of course)

So with you guys experience do the ART make it excessive at cruising speed?
