MREV2 Review

So on these forums, although there are alot of threads on the MREV, they are extremely old. Most of them, not all. So heres a fresh one.

The Car: 2007 G35 Coupe 6MT (RevUp) with Z1 test pipes, z intake tube. For double clarification, because I was conflicted at first. YOU NEED THE MREV2 MANIFOLD FOR THE SPACER TO BE EFFECTIVE IN THE REVUP MOTOR. IT WILL NOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THE MREV MANIFOLD

The Install: I did the install with a buddy. Took us about an hour and half total to install the mrev and spacer. No real hiccups with the install. Hardest part was disconnecting the vaccum hose in the back of the throttle body, but not a huge issue at all. I was actually surprised how easy it went.

The After:The car feels overall faster especially after 3K but you feel the difference in everyday driving as well under 3K. Shifts are way smoother as you can feel youre still in the powerband after your shifts. Torquier and way funner on the highway. Some have said otherwise, but I hear a difference in intake tone (deeper, alittle meaner and noticeable). I'll update this again after some time. I just installed it yesterday no problems so far.

Overall:Totally worth it. I would get it again over any exhaust or intake upgrade. YOU WILL feel a difference. Im curious what a tune will do. :DOMO:

Any questions hit me up!

you could of just posted your new pick up in the "new mods" thread. i dont think anybody cares about your non dyno review.

Ricky Ramos 02-19-2015 02:15 PM

You may not. I personally came on here to find stuff on the mrev. So if I did, other may as well. As for the Dynos. The only dynos ive seen here for the mrev have been years old anyway. Theyre cool to look at but not new. If i go do a dyno ill post it here for you guys.

sure i have a question. why did you post this again for like the 3rd time, all in difference sections.

and what useful information did you provide that nobody else knows even though this product's been out for probably 4+ years.

Ricky Ramos 02-19-2015 02:41 PM

I have a question for you. Why do you feel the need to be the thread police. I actually was just going to post it in one section. But just to piss you off ill post it in ALLLL relevant sections. just because i want to. simple!

TheJuice401 02-19-2015 02:57 PM

no you just want to be an attention h0r because you spent 600$ on parts LOL big time baller

Texasscout 02-19-2015 03:25 PM

You got just the results I did with my 05', I have to agree that it's the best bang for the buck IF you have the correct engine for it to work.

Don't mind/feed the trolls....

Sticker?

JKL1031 02-20-2015 11:25 AM

Yes, Motordyne sticker. Isn't it part of the performance gains?
