How to tell if the car has a plenum spacer installed?

Hey guys, I just bought an '04 coupe. It has several mods already (mostly just brakes and suspension) that were installed by a previous owner. I wanted to add a plenum spacer, but before I go chucking $200 at the car if I don't have to, I'd like to know how to tell if it has one already. Since I drive a truck for a living, it will be several weeks before I can take any pictures of the engine bay.

Does anyone have any pictures of the non-Revup motor with and without the spacer, or just how to tell by looking? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I bought the car from a dealer, so they didn't know what modifications were done to the car before I bought it; that's why I'm not sure whether it has one or not.

Spacer shown between upper and lower plenum(lighter gray)

Common sense and a little imagination and you can figure out what it looks like without one haha

If it has the MD spacer the bolts they give you are black instead of the normal color. But checking in between the upper and lower plenum will have gap with a grey/white spacer.

Sooooo...how would you install the spacer if you don't even know where it goes...?

Jersey nailed it! Take off the engine cover, if there's nothing between the upper and lower plenum you don't have the spacer. No surprise the dealership didn't know if you had any modifications or not...none at all! Maybe that's why most of us stay away from the stealership, they're over priced, poorly trained and incompetent!

When you buy the spacer it comes with instructions and there are a couple videos and guides you can find online.
