Keep midpipe for muffler delete?

So I am about to get a muffler delete on my coupe. Def not taking out the resonator way too raspy. Should i keep the midpipe and just have a custom y pipe or straight pipes made to the tips or should i just have them go from the resonator? Im trying to see if there is going to be a difference if I start the pipes from the resonator or the mid pipe. Is there a dfference is sound? I know all yall are gonna hate on the delete but the only exhaust I want is the topspeed pro 1 but its been outta stock forever. This is now my only option other than spending 800 + on an exhaust.

Another FPFQ post. I've always been a "If you're gonna do it, do it right" kinda guy. So my advice is to save your money until you can get what you really want. Muffler delete is a ghetto mod that sounds like azz and affects the performance of your motor. The stock G coupe sound is sexy as hell and it hurts me to see people destroy that instead of enhance it.

BUT it's your car so do what you want, you are correct though when you say people here will rag on you for the delete idea. And you do know the resonator is part of the midpipe right? The exhaust is made up of exhaust manifolds, cats, y-pipe, mid pipe, muffler/s.
