Hello,

We have still yet to acquire a bone stock 350z/g35 to get dyno results. Many people have purchased this product from G35Driver and my350z. Results will be posted when we get an aforementioned car. Thanks for your patience everyone.

Hello,

Nope, sorry. It's hard as hell to find a stock Z/G around here! Lol. I will update the thread when we find one. Thanks again!

i have the exact y-pipe in question, Megan y-pipe with 2.5" inlets and 3" out...

the first thing you'll notice after the install, it smooths out the excel.
2nd, it makes your car sound quieter (deeper but def, not as loud)
3rd, your car feels slower on take off
ur supposed to gain top end but cant really tell...

i'd love to see the dyno results, i'm actually thinking of getting rid of em
maybe the dyno results will change my mind

I couldnt wait for the dyno results so I bought one. Experienced everything you did techi13 except for the loss of power at take off. Mine is coupled with a Z-tube, coupe middy and HKS rear, not sure what your setup is (wish we had sigs back).

I can definately feel some gains on the low end. Havent had a chance to take it out at higher speeds yet and im sure the exhaust still needs to break in a bit. My HKS rear is only a few weeks used.

Hello,

Thanks for the inquiry. We're not aware of any of the aftermarket Y-pipes that are compatible w/ G35X. Sorry.

Prior to installing the Y-pipe, the HKS and coupe middy combo was more bassy, deeper during normal driving. Very aggressive sounding at WOT. After installing the Y, the HKS rear quieted down quit a bit during normal driving only a little at idle but still sounds very aggressive at WOT.

For me the now quieter exhaust is exactly what I was looking for. I liked the deeper sounding exhaust but I have to admit after a while I could see myself wishing it was only louder when I get on it, like it is now

i have the UTR y-pipe made my Megan...

since my last reply on this thread, i took off my crawford plenum on my 05
6mt, the car feels a lot quicker with just the y pipe. the only problem now is that i dont remember what it felt like stock(with out y pipe). right now, i have the y pipe and ztube/k&n...sounds a lot louder with out the crawford plenum.

when i had he plenum, it sounded real nice, kind of quite but very beefy sounding, (i hope i'm making sense) and very free flowing. but def. slower

now if i have time, i'd like to take the y pipe off and see how it feels without, so that i can compare w/ and w/o y -pipe

some dyno results would help alot...

I'm waiting for my Crawford hi-flo cats to come in. I am going to be doing the same thing you are thinking of doing with your Y-pipe. I will be removing it to see how it feels before and after the cats get put on. Right now I am running a Z-tube, K&N drop in, Intense Motorsport Y-pipe, coupe middy and an HKS sport muffler. It will probably be a half day event for me...trying out different set ups with what I have.

I won't be swappin everything out. Just the Y-pipe and maybe the muffler...with aftermarket and with OEM just to see if there are any noticeable differences. I am looking to get a more aggressive sound without sacrificing low end torque...I want to gain some ponies, not loose some

i've been contemplating the hi/flo cats also (helix hi/flow)

i heard they do the same thing as the y pipe, increase air flow, which loses low end but gains on the high end.

please keep me posted on how the hi flow cats feel.
dyno results would be sweet, but if not, any kind of input would be greatly appreciated
