Intake? Which one, why?

I am either getting:
1. z-tube and K&N drop in filter
2. z-tube and Stillen cold air intake
3. z-tube and JWT pop charger

Besides voting, please tell me the positives and negatives and ease of maintenace of each one.

Prior to voting, also consider the 'bang for your buck'. If they don't have a huge difference, then might as well go for the cheap one.

I also want a good sound. Mention possible mods i.e. removing power duct

If you all can post everything you know, I know it would help many people as well as myself ALOT. Thanks in advance!!

The Stillen would not heat soak as much as the JWT and sounds the best IMO. I got the Stillen and UTR carbon fiber Z-tube.

I just installed the pop charger and z-tube on my 06' 6mt coupe about an hour ago and dam it sounds wicked. I definetly felt more power.
Z-tube $60
jwt pop charger $110
stillen CAI $199
Maybe the pop z-tube combo persuaded me to get it anyways im very happy with it.
Check out stillen.com or mynismo.com or everythingg35.com to compare prices.

that 6.5 gain, that's not necesseraly on the 298 hp engine. it might be on the 280hp or the 287hp. prob not on the 300hp. i've heard the 298hp doesn't respond well to intakes. personally waiting to see what the md isothermal intake will do.

Less heat soak and a better looking (aka engine bling) unit: Stillen.

More affordable, almost as good, not to much bling though: Popcharger.

On a side note, I picked up a Stillen intake along with their new Z tube (which is cheaper then the OEM version) to replace my AEM CAI.

Ya, was wondering when I kept reading, what's a power duct? Any pic's to show how to take it off? Ooh, is it a DIY item?

Quick question about intake mods: I have an 05 6MT Sedan. Are the horsepower gains correct for the 298 hp motor? (for ex. on the JWT pop charger) I'm looking for a throaty sound with decent rear wheel hp gains. Any suggestions?

you won't see much, if any, gains from an aftermarket intake... the only thing that will be noticeable will be the sound.
