I've brought a used 05 g35x, the car-fax was clean but i'm thinking that the previous owner got his rear bumper replaced or painted.

The bumper's paint is flaking off around the license plate. And the bumper has some pinkish/faded spots around the g35x emblem.

Do you guy's think this is possible to fix without repainting the whole bumper? Ive read about wet sanding, would this fix it?

if its flaking off them im pretty sure you will need to repaint... do you have pics?
