Is there a way to grease the door lock mechanism?
 

I just replaced the passenger side door lock actuator with a new OEM one ~4 hours (I took my time, took some breaks, etc.) During the installation, I relubed the window regulator, inside of the door handle, and the lock itself before reinstalling everything. Now, the passenger side door opens and closes like a new car door! Hard to describe unless you opened and closed the driver's side door then went over and opened/closed the passenger side door. There's no additional tension or clicking noises compared to the driver's side door...
Anyone know if the driver's door lock mechanism can be lubed in such a way that it behaves like the new lock on the passenger's side? Would retorquing the TORX bolts on the driver's side lock make any difference?

I'm very curious as to how you lubed the lock mechanism. I had both doors off today and disassembled my window motor and cleaned the carbon out of them....both perform significantly better and quicker! Anyways, it left me wanting to maybe spray some lithium grease in the actual lock mechanism(not where the cable connects to the handle but toward the rear of the door where the actual latch is)...it appeared it might be accessed by removing the torx bolts, but I don't want to go in blind and screw anything up! Thanks for any insight!!!
