03-04 Sedan L/R headlight adjustment

Is this screw with a cap on it the horizontal adjustment. Located above the ballast. Pic from above with air box removed

Reason I ask is because the top most big plastic gear screw obviously changes vertical alignment. The one you can access easily without removing anything. When I spun this lower screw like looking into a wall with the lights on it seemed like both adjustments are only changing vertically unless it's stripped. Just want some confirmation, research is hard now on 03-04s with all old posts having virtually zero working pictures from photo bucket. I swear that's the worst picture hosting company in existence

Page 34 has pictures of the adjustment screws as well as full directions on aiming adjustment.

Protip: Cover the opposite headlamp when adjusting so you don't have any interference from it.

I appreciate the link but I've had the FSM from day 1. I covered the other headlight with a big towel and taped it. Maybe I'm used to other headlight assemblies and the Infiniti RH drive setup is the same. Doing adjustment on the driver side just doesn't seem correct left to right. I've pulled the hid bulb a few times to reseat it and even tried shimming it.

The issue really is I have a OCD for perfection and making something look perfect. Im guessing the design is to keep the driver side from blinding incoming traffic. I just can't seem to pull the headlight enough to the left for my liking

Yeah at 30' it's supposed to be aimed inward 14" exactly for that reason, to keep from blinding oncoming traffic, no idea what the stock reflectors are like on that year, my '06 (different headlights) casts a very wide beam though. The factory screws probably don't allow enough adjustment to bring it outward as much as you would like OR the screws might have stripped out of the adjuster, there should be a noticeable adjustment by turning that screw.
