Lost all interior lighting... 03Coupe
Checked both fuse panels, only bad fuse was for climate and radio.
Also just had CEL come on, and was unable to get readings with a codereader. Please help! |
Sorry for the late response. Start with the error code. If your reader won't read it drive down to a local parts house and have them scan it. Most like AutoZone, NAPA, O'Reilly's , etc, perform this for free.
lighting, check Fuse Block - J/B for fuses in slots 1, 18, and 21. Remove and inspect, all are 10amp fuses. Next check the fusible link slot F, it's a 50amp, don't need to remove because it has a viewing window but you will need to disconnect it from the battery to see it. Also check your BCM to see if water is leaking on it which can cause all manner of random body-related problems. |
Wow thx.. I assume the main one is under driver A pillar. Those check out well. Will recheck. The box near battery seems fine as well. Not sure on BCM, this all happened when a battery died.
AUTOZONE was unable to read any codes, there was an issue with connectivity. Will try another store. Thankfully my CEL has chilled out and is off again after startups. I had one shop tell me to check the fuse boxes in the trunk haha... not sure if that is total jibberish hehe Will update |

Wow thx! Will check again soon and post update.

Did a reset by swapping in a new battery... lights back on, but my OBD port has no power... is there a fuse that runs and powers it?
