Okay...I'm seriously thinking about plopping over $150 for some real CF stick-ons made by a well known company. Picture attached.
But before I do drop down some serious change, I need to know if there are alternatives?
What I know so far:
1- Bluebat's overlay. Don't like the look. Not as clean as these.
2- Top Secret Mirror Replacement. $600+ is outta my price range, plus I want to keep the functionality of my OEM mirrors
have I missed anything? there was a guy who was gonna work on some, but I think he dropped the project.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: For the WHY people out there. To add that subtle, distinctive look to my daily driven show car.
Thank you

You have a good point. Ya know what? You got me thinking now... why even buy a G35? Its just a car! $35k for just a car to get you from point A to point B? Shoot... I think I'll just buy myself a Daewoo or a Kia instead. Originally Posted by smellyg35

To each his own, plus I like the idea, nice, subtle accent, I totally agree with you.

I love the fact you posted this and he told you why he cares. Yet you asked again anyway?Originally Posted by smellyg35

Why did you care enough to even post? You didn't help....

How about painting them to match the car?

I know you want to change the mirrors, but personally I like them black. They match well with your fogs, grill, rear, wheels. Also, I'm not a big fan of CF. Just my $.02.
oh..don't bash the guy, i added the why? question after he had asked just in case anyone else asked
i knew color matching would make the car too yellow. i don't know..the picture in my head said to leave it black, and I like it.
the carbon fiber would just accent the area, plus i accidently got wax on the black part and it is slightly hazed. i know I could use aftermarket cleaners like Back to Black, but i'm lazy
i guess there are not many other alternatives.
it's gonna be an expensive month for me...

Don't use Back to Black, just get a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, dip it in a little water, and just wipe the excess wax right off. It's also a cheap way to clean your leather seats, they work great.

I have these and they look great! The CF is the highest quality I have ever seen! After one of the other guys saw them, he went out and got them as well. Install is easy. As a tip if you get these, lay the pieces on your windshield in the sun, it will soften them up like butter and make adhesive stick much better!Originally Posted by drsifu1
