our leather seats suck~!!
i was cleaning and just noticed that our leather seats sucks. I already have cracking on the perforated front driver and passenger seats. Even after using mother's leather conditioner, my leather seats looks worst then before. Can anyone help?

yup get some water, soap & a cloth and clean the dirt that sits inside the cracks

Yeah Infiniti leather is trash, I had my driver side leather replaced a few months ago under warranty and brand new they feel like cheap dried out vinyl...my dads 5 year old Lexus with leather that he's never once wiped down feels softer and suppler than my 2 MONTH old Infiniti leather.

I love my leather, but it cracks easily.
My passenger seat took a beating this summer from my 86 year old, 40 billion pound grandmother that came crashing down on the seats several times because her legs dont really work that great anymore. |

how and why did you get your leather seats replaced? i still have warranty and i was curious if my seats are covered under factory warranty.. |
You should use a leather cleaner and a conditioner. Not the two in one stuff but but the two step process, because if you use any kind of cleaning stuff that is not leather safe than you run the risk of staining your leather.

The leather was ripping from the seat at the edge between the seat and the door. If you don't need to get it done, don't bother, the leather isn't going to be any better than what you already have, trust me. :7::7:

Fvck. I should have had it replaced on mine while it was still under warranty.
As for leather stuff. I recommend Zaino Leather in a Bottle and Leather Soft. it is a 2 step process, but it makes your leather feel amazing. It also makes the inside of your car smell like... idk really amazing leather. |
do you guys have the picture of the rip?
|
I have had mine over 3 years now with no problems at all. Now I do clean and condition them three or four times a year. No cracks and only slight wrinkles.
BTW, this is no "Garage Queen" either, it sits out in the scorching sun all day nine months out of the year. |

Yes the infiniti leather sucks terribly
|
My car has 84K miles on and the seats look great. I use Leatherique products. Keeps the leather soft and supple and the cleaner really works.

my 02 Audi leather was way better and smoother than my G... its disapointing... its a newer car but feels cheaper.... kinda feel like it was a downgrade... ha
