Carbon fiber

does anyone know a place I can send out dash parts to have carbon fiber applied??

Like real carbon? Or carbon vinyl.

Go on ebay and get the 3m DiNoc vinyl

I dont know what carbon vinyl is , but as long as its quality and looks good, I guess it makes little difference to me

This is cf vinyl:

very nice, can you let me know what brand that is??

Silencer_0 11-23-2010 07:01 PM

3M's Di-Noc Carbon Fiber Vinyl, as 4DGS suggested.

3m makes it. You apply it yourself like a sticker. It's actually pretty easy to work with.

one more thing, I used to work at al and eds in cali, and we had a vendor who would come in and could pretty much carbon fiber any dash piece, it was costly but looked amazing. I know he used real cf somehow, but cant remember the exact process

You can overlay existing parts by using resin and cf cloth

Looks sick!!

Silencer_0 11-23-2010 08:45 PM

Damn those trim pieces look great.

martyg35 11-23-2010 08:55 PM

Thnx!! It honestly depends on personal preference.. 3M Di-noc is easily accessible and can be applied to any surface whereas cf lay takes more effort and practice especially corner edges or vacuum process which produces better results.
