Driver Side Window Problem

Hello all! I want to preface this with - I have read alot of different posts on driver side windows having issues getting stuck up or stuck down.

My problem is that the driver side window is iffy... It will be stuck, so ill open the door, push it manually down a bit, then im able to open or close it . for one motion and then it gets stuck again, so what i do is open the door, push it down, then close the door and close the window all the way. but im afraid to lower it down all the way becuase i wont be able to get it back up. Ive tried disconnecting negative, and i even took off the door panel to see if anything was loose. nothing that i could find.

it seems like w.e the motor moves that moves the window is loose, and by me pushing it, im re-engaging it? the motor itself still seems to have full strength tho, or i would have thought the motor was burnt out.

is this something a new motor would fix? the car has 125k so im not gonna buy a new OEM one, but i found some good looking replacements on ebay for 50 bucks, or ill find a member with a used one for 75 ish.

any help would be greatly appreciated as the weather is starting to get nice and id love to get my windows open again

yeah just replace the motor and you should be back on track!but it may be possible somthing is jamming it,pull off the door cover and check it out theres 3 screws you need to take off first then it will come off

i know this is super old but just wondering if you got this problem fixed? My window seems to be doing the exact same thing.

yup. grabbed a motor from autozone. replaced it. re-greased the tracks a little with some random crap we had in the garage (maybe not the best idea?) and it works fine now

just wear gloves or something cuase the track area has some really sharp spots
