I purchased a full set of OEM Brembos from Dennis in December '08. He assured me that everything was included, except a rear brake line that was misplaced, and that the kit was "Plug and Play" as his post said.

So I purchased the brakes from Dennis and ordered a set of stainless lines, thinking I could install them the day I received them. The brakes arrived in fair shape cosmetically with paint bubbling/peeling on the calipers from extended exposure to brake fluid which I was not made aware of. The pads were also toast, not as he promised.

MORE IMPORTANTLY one of the rear Brembo calipers was DAMAGED and MISSING PARTS!!!!!

As you can see in the picture below there is damage to the brake line port and a bolt is broken off inside the caliper:

Now I was also missing the hard line and mounting bracket that connects and holds the oem rubber line as shown in this picture:

Come to find out Dennis works for a scrap yard on the side selling sub-standard parts to enthusiasts on various forums. More than likely any part Dennis sells is off a wrecked car and there is a good chance it won't be as promised.

After showing Dennis these pictures, he passed the buck saying "one of his techs messed them up taking them off the car and he didn't get a chance to see them before they went out". That's strange because he did show me a picture of them off the car? Didn't bother to take any photos of the damage or missing parts though.

I asked Dennis to do what was right and pay for repair and the missing parts which came out to aprox. $100, not including the toasted pads. He did offer that if I sent the caliper back, his junk yard crew would MAKE a bracket and pull the bolt, but I refuse to put half-***, jerry-rigged parts on my car, especially for something as important as my brake system. At this point who knows if the caliper would even be returned at all?

For months he's been promising to pay me for the parts and repair, making excuses at every turn, saying the deal was between me and the scrap yard, not him who brokered the deal and misrepresented the item online.

On my own time and my own dime I have tracked down all the parts needed and had the repairs done. It is March '09 and I now have all the parts and repairs done, yet still haven't seen a dime from Dennis. I have given him months to make things right and even made ultimatums with him publicly on the forums saying that I would leave him negative feedback if he refuses to make this right. I hate to throw anyone under the bus, but you leave me no choice.

Caveat Emptor - BUYER BEWARE!!!! Do Not Do Business with Dennis!
