Why doesn't my HID twinkle

I love how on some cars the projectors twinkle a blueish hue. I noticed that ours don't do that.

Do you mean why doesn't it change colors?

It depends on the bulb temp. The bluish hues come with higher Kalvin temperatures.

It has nothing to do with bulb temp, changing bulb temps just make all of your light a silly blue/purple color that is dimmer than stock. "twinkle" or more commonly refered to as flicker is due to color in the cuttoff band produced by the projectors. This doesn't occur on the G's because infiniti uses a fresnel lense which blurs the cuttoff and eliminates alot of the color, as have many manufacturers. The only way to get this is to do a clear lense swap on the stock projectors as IvoryGT has done, or retrofit projectors from another car that have these characteristics such as the older TSX's and TL's

Ya the flicker is what I'm talking about. When I see a car flicker at night, I know it's luxury baby!

couldn't have said it better myself. our projector's aren't the nicest out there. the cut isn't as definitive as others, and the quality isn't that great either.

The days of colorful cutoffs is coming to an end, almost all new cars are using fresnel lenses including the hight aclaimed tsx/s2k/tl's. Performance is still fine, and nothing a clear lense swap won't fix
