15" CCFL's for clearance strip retrofit?
 

So I've noticed that the 12" CCFL's are a little short in the pics posted of people's clearance strip mods. Anyone think it would be possible to use a 15" CCFL strip instead? I've got an extra set of 03-05 lights I would like to mod for fun to use while I work on my quad retrofit

Doubt it... they would stick up a little higher and wouldn't clear the acrylic strip.

Measured today and I highly doubt they would fit. Ordered 12" CCFL's instead

Whoa...this stuff's cheap! Get it while you can boys....bc when I order my stash they'll really be sold out lol

I ordered 3 sets of dual kits for $25. Should have enough replacement parts if the kit ever fails
