d2s vs d4s

what really is the diffrence? would a d2s bulb fit into a d4s or will it need modification?

d4s bulbs are mercury free, and require d4s ballasts, you cannot use them with the OEM ballasts.

if he's got 06' headlights, doesn't he have d2s ballasts/ignitors???

redlude97 11-12-2007 02:53 AM

They are mercury free, and since the chemistry is different, they run at different voltages, which is why you need d4s ballasts, d2s and d4s parts are not interchangeable.

may i ask why you want to go with d4s????
