Can't Match My Bulbs!

So I've been looking for bulbs in my clear corners that match with the 6000K ultinons in my projectors, but havent found a solution.

I tried the PIAA LEDs from my license plate lights which are an xtreme white (?), and those didn't match. Then I went ahead

and bought the LEDs but in 'blue/white' color, and they were WAYYYYYY too blue, almost like 10000K bulbs :icon43:

I also searched for pics of ultinons but the majority had the stock amber bulb in their corners.... Any suggestions along with pics please?

Its impossible to match halogen/incandescant to HID perfectly, their spectrums are just too different. Stick to amber, or just don't run any bulbs in them like me

Yeah I think I might just take out the bulbs... and the only problem with the ambers is that I have black 4-bar overlays

on my corners, so the mix of amber+black might look weird.

I don't understand though, how is white+black any better?

Its not like you can see the black anyway, just the light shining through four bars. :dunno: Remember, my car is black.

I think you are proving my point, how do the overlays effect the color of the light coming through them, whether its amber or white

For some reason you can notice the amber and the black, but you can't notice the black when white light is shining through. :dunno:

Either way arguing isn't going to fix my problem so I'll just pop out the bulbs.

Oh and just for the hell of it (might as well try), if anyone has ultinons along with clears that emit a white light please chime in :)

What type of bulbs do you have in the clear corners? Your tagline says PIAA LED everywhere...are you happy with your PIAA bulbs? Do they match the HID's?
