Want to buy projectors for my bf's valentines day gift! please help=]
 

Hi ^_^! I'd like to get my bf projectors for his car but I'm not sure where to look or what kind to get...any suggestions or info I might need to know? He has a 2005 coupe...I posted here last night but I dont know where my post went so here's another one. Thanks=p

He has a coupe. Were they recalled because something was wrong with them? I didn't know it was banned..I guess that explains why my post disappeared...and yeah, he uses this forum lol that's why I thought I should just ask people here since I'm noob and don't know much about projectors..so where would I get projectors and what kind? thanks

A few people on the threads here actually retrofit projectors into there headlights. This requires taking the headlight out and taking it apart and actually fitting a projector into the headlight. I'd say that will take a while and won't be a timely present for Valentines Day. What other mods does he have? Does he have an aftermarket headunit? Exhaust? Lowering Springs? Is he a car enthusiast? :dunno:

That sounds like a good idea...I can just get that for him and have him install it himself. Where would I get that though? Is there a website or store(Im located in So. Cal)?And he has a couple of mods..I'm not sure what they all are but I know he has an intake, bumper, exhaust...umm...and some other things I can't think of right now lol..and yea, he's a car enthusiast.

Don't listen to the recall bullsh!t. They are fine and there is nothing wrong with them.

Is there a specific brand or spec for the projectors or are they all compatible with the 05' coupe? I went to ebay and there's a different things listed, but I'm not sure which ones are best=/

The projector headlights on Ebay are very tricky when buying. Infiniti G35 between the years of 03 and 05 do not come with the projectors. The 06+ do. The problem is that Ebay lists headlights as 03-06 and you could own an 06 and be buying 03-05 headlights.

projector lights are 06 and plus.

You can tell by a D!ck looking thing in the headlight.

if top headlight does not looks like d!cks head then it's not a projector. If it does then it is.

+1, get brand new post recall projectors in mint condition. Buying them on ebay is always a crapshoot
