does anyone know which color matches the stock hid headlights

JOKER Apr 2, 2008 11:14 AM

it will work

it's very bright and matches 6k hid very well

the only negative side with it is that it is a Top mounted led

So you don't get enough light reflecting from a reflectors in your side markers.

So when up close the only thing you see eliminated is the actual led and not the entire side marker.

From further away it looks better.

I'm rocking them and it's not that bad.

Great bulb from superbrightleds.com, out lasted all my SMT's (5LED AND 9LED) from v-leds. Nearly as bright also, oddly enough.

I had the single LED high power in the clearance strip and vleds SMT 5LED on the sidemarker to fill it up. vled's SMT seem to die on me.. all of them.

+1 Exactly my results.

Before these I was running some inverted cone LEDs in the side markers and they were too blue and still didn't throw much light off the side of the LED.

I've had these ones for years now and they're still working great. They also look great on the rear license plate (you need two there).

Hey Joker, What exact bulbs did you use for your clearance strip and side markers? I want to get LED sidemarkers and clearance strip LED and I like that way yours look. Let me know specs on them. Thanks
